The journey of Daniel Young and Mary Snoddy-Young, the founders of Diversified Training Agency & Courier Services, began in November 2012.  Daniel, with his extensive experience in armed security, security officer training, and firearms, introduced Mary to the world of weapons.  As their relationship deepened, it became evident that Daniel's true passion was ensuring people's and their family's safety. This unwavering commitment to everyone's safety, which is at the heart of our operation, led to the establishment of the Diversified Training Agency (DTA) in June 2016 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Initially, DTA was a mobile security guard training business focusing on unarmed security. Part-time, DTA trained many unarmed security guards in the North Carolina Private Protective Service Board (N.C. PPSB) curriculum and SABRE (O.C.) spray usage. In October 2019, the N.C. PPSB changed the business criteria for unarmed security licensing. The criteria change prompted us to expand our services, changing the name to Diversified Training Agency & Security (DTAS) in February 2020. Our combined experience and qualifications enable us to provide the highest quality training services. 

Our journey has been marked by continuous growth and evolution. In March of 2021, Daniel A. Young and I, Mary B. Snoddy-Young, were married. Our unwavering commitment to the training industry, supported by our combined experience and qualifications, makes us a formidable team. As our services continued to diversify, we rebranded again in September 2021 to Diversified Training Agency & Courier Services (DTACS). This name reflects our commitment to providing comprehensive training and leaving room for added courier services. This evolution is a testament to our adaptability and commitment to meeting the changing needs of our clients, which now include training everyone on the laws and responsibilities of carrying concealed. Our journey has been marked by continuous learning and improvement, ensuring that we stay at the forefront of the industry and provide the best training services to our clients.
